1.      What forms of transportation are available?


a.       The Hyatt Place Baltimore / Owings Mills does offer a complimentary shuttle service for guests traveling within a 3 mile radius from the hotel. The hotel is located 0.5 mile from the Metro Station which guests can use to travel into Baltimore City. The local bus system and Light Rail is also extremely useful for those visitors without vehicles. http://mta.maryland.gov/content/transit-information


2.      What should I do if I forgot something in my room?


a.        Please contact the hotel directly. Our rooms are cleaned daily, so that your item probably has been found by our housekeeping team.


3.      Is there laundry service available?


a.       The Hyatt Place Baltimore / Owings Mills does have an outsourced laundry service available along with same day dry-cleaning. A laundry bag and pricing sheet can be found in each sleeping room.


4.      Is it possible to leave my luggage before check-in or after checking-out?


a.       Yes, a Front Desk Associate will be able to tag your bag and keep it in the back office until you are ready to check-in or depart.


5.      Is it possible to put my name on a waiting list for a guest room?


a.       Hyatt Place Baltimore / Owings Mills does not have a waiting list policy. Thank you for your understanding.


6.      Is it possible to get connecting rooms?


a.       The Hyatt Place Baltimore / Owings Mills does not have connecting or adjoining sleeping rooms.  You can request to be close to another guest when making your reservation or at check-in. The Front Desk Associate checking you in will do their best to accommodate your request. Room placement is largely due to the availability of room type at the time our guest check-in.


7.      Is it possible to check-in early our check-out late?


a.       Requests for early check-in or checkout are honored as space permits. If the hotel is full, we may be unable to grant your request. However, you are invited to store luggage and enjoy the facilities until your room becomes available.


8.      Can I pay for another guest’s room with my credit card?


a.        Yes, you may pay for another guest's room with your credit card. Please contact the hotel for a copy of the Credit Card Authorization form, sign it and fax it back to the hotel. The Hyatt Place / Baltimore Owings Mills requires customers to submit this form for their own credit card protection.

Maps and Directions

From Baltimore/Washington International Airport: Follow airport exit signs onto I-195 West. From I-195 West, take Exit 2 (Baltimore/Washington Parkway I-295 North). Follow I-295 North to I-695 West/Towson Exit (this is the second Exit for I-695). From I-695 West take Exit 19 (I-795 North). From I-795 North take Exit 4 (Owings Mills Boulevard). Follow the signs for Owings Mills Boulevard South by staying in the far left lane. The exit will fork twice as you approach Owings Mills Boulevard. Once on Owings Mills Boulevard, get into far left lane and turn left at the first traffic light onto Red Run Boulevard. Follow Red Run Boulevard 0.75 miles. The hotel is on the right at the intersection of Red Run Boulevard and Painters Mill Road. Entrance to the lower parking lot of the hotel is 100 feet before intersection.

From Baltimore’s Inner Harbor: Follow East Pratt Street to President Street and turn left. Stay on President Street as this will become I-83 North/Jones Falls Expressway. Follow I-83 North to I-695 West/Pikesville Exit. Follow I-695 West to Exit 20 (Reisterstown Road). Bear to the right at the end of the exit onto Reisterstown Road. Follow Reisterstown Road three miles to its intersection with Painters Mill Road. Turn left onto Painters Mill Road. Follow Painters Mill Road one mile. The hotel is on the right immediately after the intersection of Painters Mill Road and Red Run Boulevard.

Pet Policy

For those traveling with four-legged friends, our pet policy allows single dogs weighing 50 lbs or less; two dogs may be allowed provided their combined weight does not exceed 75 pounds. The maximum is two dogs per room, regardless of weight. For guests staying 1-6 nights, a $75 non-refundable pet fee will be administered. Guests staying 7-30 nights, a $75 non-refundable pet fee plus an additional $100 cleaning fee will be administered. Guests staying 30+ nights, please contact the hotel. The fee(s) will be inclusive of taxes. All dogs must be housebroken.
